Day 1: Marrakech – Ait ben haddou – palm grove of Skoura – Dades gorges
We will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8:00 am. then we drive to Ouarzazate, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n tichka at 2260m. You enjoy beautiful photos and a panoramic view of the mountains, the Berber villages. We will visit the famous village of Telouet and its kasbah, then we will follow the Ounila valley to the village of Ait ben haddou, visit the kasbah with a local guide, then we will continue towards the center of Ouarzazate to visit the Atlas studios, and the Taourirt kasbah take pictures, then we continue our way to the palm grove of Skoura here we will visit the kasbah of Amridil, and we continue to the Dades gorges, we will pass through the valley of roses and that of Dades. Dinner and night in a local hotel.
Day 2: Dades Gorges – Tinghir – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, you can enjoy the beautiful photos of the gorges and the Dades rock formation. Then our trip will continue to Tinghir passing through the Berber village of Imeder, following the road of the gorges, then stop in the Todra palm grove to take photos, after that we will reach the Todra Gorges, where we will have lunch between the cliffs of more than 250 m. In the afternoon continuation towards Merzouga, we cross the village Tinjdad and Jorf to arrive in Erfoud. Visit fossils museum, then we cross a desert landscape to arrive in Merzouga. You will be welcomed by the camel guide who will guide you on camel back to the great dunes of Erg Chebbi, and your luggage will be transported by 4×4. You admire the sunset in the dunes, spend a wonderful night in the camp listening to Berber music, and a delicious dinner around the campfire. Sleep under the stars in nomadic tents.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Tazarine – Zagora
We return to Zagora. Breakfast, camel ride to join our 4×4 in Merzouga. Then we leave for Rissani, visit Rissani Souk market, then we cross the beautiful landscapes of Tazarine. The desert trip will lead us to cross the Hamada a black desert, stop to share a beautiful moment with nomads in their tents, then we continue to Zagora. Take pictures of the palm grove dinner and overnight in a local hotel.
Day 4: Zagora – Mhamid – Chegaga dunes
We will travel to Erg chegaga dunes after breakfast. Visit the manuscript library and the pottery workshops in Tamgrout, then we continue to Mhamid el Guizlane, this beautiful desert town is the end of the paved road. Then we cross the sands in 4×4 towards the Chegaga dunes, we will spend the night in a camp in the Erg Chegaga dunes with dinner.
Day 5: Chegaga dunes – Taznakht – Taroudant – Agadir
Let’s leave Erg Chegaga toward Agadir, we will pass by the dry lake Iriki, the village Foum Zguide, and the Berber village Taznakht, we visit the cooperative of handmade carpets, then we continue towards Taroudant, pass by Taliouine, known by the saffron. Lunch in Taroudant and we continue to Agadir. Dinner and night in a hotel.
Day 6: Agadir – Essaouira
After breakfast we will explore Agadir beach, and enjoy a panoramic view of the port, then we drive to Essaouira. We visit Taghazout beach, and Sidi kaouki before arriving in Essaouira, accommodation in a calm riad in Essaouira, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Essaouira – Marrakech
We return to Marrakech after visiting Essaouira port and the medina. Visit the Argan oil cooperative on the way. We will drop you off at your accommodation in Marrakech.
