→ 6 Days Marrakech to Merzouga Desert
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait ben haddou – palm grove of Skoura – Dades gorges
We will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8:00 am. Then we drive to Ouarzazate, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n tichka at 2260m. You enjoy beautiful photos and a panoramic view of the mountains, the Berber villages. We will visit the famous village of Telouet and its kasbah. Then we will follow the Ounila valley to the village of Ait ben haddou. We will visit the kasbah with a local guide, then we will continue towards the center of Ouarzazate to visit the studios of the Atlas, and the Taourirt kasbah take pictures, then we continue our way to the palm grove of Skoura here we will visit the kasbah of Amridil, and we continue to the Dades gorges, we will pass through the valley of roses and that of Dades. Dinner and night in a local hotel.
Day 2: Dades Gorges – Tinghir – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, you can enjoy the beautiful photos of the gorges and the Dades rock formation. Then our trip will continue to Tinghir passing through the Berber village of Imeder, we will follow the road of the gorges, and we will stop in the Todra palm grove to take photos, then we will reach the Todra Gorges, where we will have lunch between the cliffs of more than 250 m. In the afternoon continuation towards Merzouga.
We cross the village Tinjdad and Jorf to arrive in Erfoud. visit fossil museums, then we cross a desert landscape to arrive in Merzouga. You will be welcomed by the camel guide who will guide you on camel back to the great dunes of Erg Chebbi, and your luggage will be transported by 4×4. You admire the sunset in the dunes, spend a wonderful night in the camp listening to Berber music, and a delicious dinner around the campfire. Sleep under the stars in nomadic tents.
Day 3: Merzouga desert
After breakfast we leave for the village on camels to join our 4×4, and we go on an excursion to explore the desert landscapes, this outing in the desert includes the visit of the nomads in their tents, the visit of the rock engravings in Taouz, then return to khamlia village, where you can enjoy Gnaoua music, Berber pizza lunch, then we return to the camp by camel. Dinner and night at the bivouac.
Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Tazarine – Zagora
Breakfast, camel ride to join our 4×4 in Merzouga. Then we leave towards Rissani, visit of big walk in Rissani, then we cross the beautiful landscapes of Tazarine and Nkob, then we will cross the Draa valley via Tanssikht, and we will continue towards Zagora, admiring the large palm grove. Dinner and night in local hotel.
Day 5: Zagora – Foum Zguid – Tata – Tafraout
We set off to discover the Arganies, passing through the village of Foum Zguid, Tata, to reach Tafraout, is a small Berber town located in the Anti-Atlas in the Souss region. Here you will visit The Agadir Tasguent is over 350 years old. Tasguent is one of the largest and best preserved in the Anti-Atlas. dinner and night in a beautiful hotel.
Day 6: Tafroaut – Taroudant – Oualad berhil – imlil – Marrakech
Return to Marrakech by a beautiful road which crosses beautiful Berber villages, and the argan trees, we will have lunch in Taroudant and in the afternoon we pass by Oulad brhil and Imil to arrive at the end of the day in Marrakech.
